It was our first visit to Waterton Lakes
National Park. This tiny town exists on the park grounds and operates for about
4 months of the year. We took a ferry across one of the lakes to Montana. A lot
of people do this type of excursion and spend a day or more hiking. When we
returned from our short boat trip, we visited the Prince of Wales hotel, also
on the park grounds. It definitely abounds with old-world charm.
