Dinosaur Sighted in Christmas Village

A Brontosaurus was spotted in a small Christmas Village in Oakville! This is what I’ve been up to the last little while.

Meet Peanut Butter (love the name), my son’s stuffed dinosaur knit with Bernat’s Glow In The Dark Yarn that I purchased at Michaels. The pattern is available for free at http://www.xtreme-knitting.com/photos-dinosaurs.htm as well as in the Ravelry pattern database.

I love these sorts of projects because they’re so quick and easy and give so much joy. The yarn really does glow in the dark but unfortunately, doesn’t photograph too well in the dark so I’m afraid I can’t show you how COOL this really is. How could I resist yarn that really glows in the dark!

On to knit my daughter’s dinosaur.

haha! so cute! i saw this yarn too, and was tempted to buy it. i was curious if it really did glow, or just glittered or something.

Thanks, busterwife. This yarn really does glow in the dark. The more daytime light exposure it gets, the longer and brighter it glows in the dark.

Hi, I love the dinosaur and the glow in the dark idea is great, I have thought about getting some but it is not easy to buy over here in the UK. I also love the hat in your last blog post.
